Had a full circle moment today! At my last job, I worked as a graphic designer for a planning and engineering firm specializing in active transportation. I worked on various projects, including wayfinding systems. Word got out at the park about my experience, and I was asked to join Tigard’s Wayfinding Advisory Team! It was great to sit in and contribute to the long term developments in downtown Tigard as a designer and a local business owner. Thank you @cityoftigard! A key reason I joined was to advocate for my Launch Pod family and future cart operators, aiming to improve downtown signage so everyone knows we’re here!

I thought it would be fun to bring my dad to work last night:) 😍 What an honor it was to provide 200 mini cups to the City of Tigard for their State of Our City event!!! I loved meeting more community members and seeing so many familiar faces! Thank you @mayorlueb for trying the coconut lime sherbet! Thank you @cityoftigard for having us!! FYI - My dad had a blast!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Nunny & Pheebs!!! Did you know that May 14, Mother’s Day in 2023 was our FIRST market sales day at the @tigardfarmersmarket ? It’s been a crazy year! We were so busy this month we didn’t even have a chance to mention it!!! Look out for some birthday specials and old pics this week!

We had a fantastic weekend selling out completely of ice cream and sandwiches on Sunday! Thanks to @harvestmoonsangriabar & @senetgamebar for swinging by later that day to grab the last scoops left! These are the folks that believed in us and made our cart possible!!! Also got to spend Mother’s Day with my mom for the first time in probably 20 years!!! I love you, mom!

My folks haven’t been up to Oregon since the pan

My folks haven’t been up to Oregon since the pandemic. Was bittersweet for me to show them what I’ve been doing for the last few years. They’ve never been truly supportive of this ice cream business mostly because it’s probably difficult to see their child work so hard when they could be doing something more stable and secure with a schedule more tailored to family life. I could see they were a tiny bit proud and excited to see me doing something I have become very passionate about though! So thankful to have them here this week. ❤️

We have been using their miso for years at home and for a few years for our ice cream in our caramel and now our Miso Brown Butter Pretzel flavor. It was so wonderful to meet them and talk with them. What a lovely and kind couple. If you haven’t read their story you have to visit their website and read the long version of their history. I didn’t have a chance to even introduce this Sweet Potato Crème Brûlée flavor! Thank to those who tried it over the last two weeks! We roasted Japanese sweet potatoes and torched them with sugar to create a rich creamy smooth sweet potato vanilla custard base. Added in some bits of burnt sugar caramel. Probably 1 to 2 days of this left. We’ll rotate it back in someday. Catch it while it’s here, tomorrow Thursday 11-6pm.

THANK YOU to everyone that has stopped by to see us. I really didn’t think anyone was going to show up in the cold & rain. We are so GRATEFUL for your support over the Grand Opening weekend and thankful for your patience! You may have noticed that we still don’t have our full menu available and some kinks need to be ironed out. Hoping to take the next few weeks to fine tune our process and get a few more helpers so we can better serve this community (and so Chris can be with Pheebs). We know consistency is key and we want to spread the word that going forward we will be open this month from 11-6pm TH-SUN. On the other days I’ll be prepping and churning ice cream in our production kitchen in Sellwood. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for believing in us. ❤️
